WHO ARE THESE SMALL PLANETS ANYWAYS?

Circa 2005:
We are Ben Moy and Josie Whitmore.  Ben lives near Baltimore, MD.  Josie lives in White River Junction, VT.  Every once in a while, Josie will visit her parents' home in MD.  When she does, the Small Planets write and record music.  We usually finish about 3-5 songs in a day.  Who knows?  We record with a tiny computer microphone.  I think this will change soon (it has!)

Circa 2007:
We are a Baltimore based band (in that Baltimore lies between our two houses).  Ben writes the music, Josie writes the lyrics.  They both sing, but Josie does it better.  Both make comics occasionally. 

WHY DON'T YOU SPEND MORE TIME ON MUSIC?
If we did, we'd only finish about 1 song a visit!  That'd be like 2 or 3 songs a year.  We are like a giant song factory, belching clouds of thick sweet melody into the sky, polluting the world with song.  We may try having Josie write lyrics while Ben makes music at home, but then it'd be missing the sweetness that is Josie's voice.  :\

Now we spend more time on music since we live close to each other.  We are still polluting the world with song. 

WHY THE NAME?
It's from Gumby.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
One of us is a girl.  One of us is a boy.  Also we are asian and caucasian.  Nobody is sure of who is which.

HOW CAN I JOIN THE SMALL PLANETS?
You can't.  But you are forever in our hearts.
